Dubai-based digital prop-tech innovator EQARCOM entered into a landmark cooperation agreement with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) on April 14, 2025. The signing took place during the IPS Conference at Dubai World Trade Centre, signalling a transformative move toward the digital evolution of Dubai’s real estate sector.
Paving the Way for a Transparent, Tech-Driven Market
The newly forged partnership aims to enhance regulatory oversight and foster greater transparency across the industry. By combining resources, EQARCOM and DLD plan to implement data integration strategies, automate leasing workflows, and deliver a seamless digital interface for tenants and landlords alike.
Seamless Integration for Smarter Leasing
As part of the agreement, EQARCOM will connect directly with DLD’s core systems, including the Ejari platform. This integration will grant access to critical market data, empowering landlords to manage leases more efficiently while ensuring full regulatory compliance and improving tenant satisfaction.
Official Signing and Leadership Participation
The memorandum was formally signed by Sultan Al Ghurair, CEO of EQARCOM Solutions, and Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD. The ceremony took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, underscoring the strategic importance of the partnership.
“This agreement is a significant milestone, not only for EQARCOM but for the wider digitisation of Dubai’s property sector,” said Abbas Hayat, General Manager at EQARCOM. “With the support of DLD, we are delivering the tools landlords need to provide faster, smarter and more transparent leasing experiences.”
