Exclusive benefits and unparalleled travel experiences

Emirates in Dubai has witnessed an exceptional summer season, setting a new record by transporting more than 14 million passengers between June and August, achieving seat load factors surpassing 80 percent. Notably, families comprised over 35 percent of the travelers on Emirates flights to Dubai during this period, with an average stay of more than two weeks to explore the various attractions the city has to offer. Anticipating a continued surge in travel demand, Emirates foresees increased activity during the upcoming winter season.

“Travel demand across our network has been strong and resilient despite rising cost-of-living pressures in many markets. It shows the value that people place on travel – whether for work, play, study, or visiting loved ones; and how essential international air connectivity is to communities,” Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim said.

Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport (DXB) is experiencing a remarkable resurgence in key performance indicators, surpassing pre-pandemic benchmarks from the first half of 2019. As one of the world's busiest international aviation hubs, DXB welcomed an impressive 41.6 million passengers in the initial six months of 2023. This figure reflects remarkable growth, exceeding 100 percent compared to the passenger volume recorded in H1 2019. Additionally, when compared to the same period in 2022 (27.9 million), passenger traffic experienced a substantial surge of 49.1 percent.
