Inclusion, effective 1 September 2026, is expected to enhance stock visibility, trading liquidity, and relevance amongst international investors

Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company "du" (ISIN: AEE000701012), the leading telecom and digital services provider in the UAE listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), confirms its inclusion in the MSCI UAE Standard Index, a component of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, following publication of MSCI’s latest Equity Index Review results, with implementation expected as of the market close on 31 August 2026.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index captures large- and mid-cap representation across 24 Emerging Markets countries and is a leading benchmark tracked by global institutional investors. du’s growing market capitalisation, free float and liquidity supported its eligibility for inclusion, reflecting the Company's increasing scale, market relevance and expanding institutional shareholder base. The inclusion is expected to drive material level of passive inflows from index-tracking funds, further supporting liquidity and long-term investor demand.

Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Executive Officer of du, said: “Our inclusion in the MSCI UAE Standard Index is an important milestone for du and reflects our growing relevance to international investors. Combined with our strong H1 2026 financial performance, including double-digit net profit growth and continued margin expansion, it underscores the strength and resilience of our business model and long-term investment case. Beyond du, this inclusion highlights the increasing depth, liquidity and attractiveness of the UAE's capital markets, supporting the country's position as a leading destination for international investment.”

du’s strong H1 2026 financial performance further reinforces the Company’s broader investment case and long-term appeal to institutional investors. On 22 July 2026, the Company reported H1 20261 revenues of AED 8.2 billion, up 5.8% year-on-year, with service revenue growing 7.7% and EBITDA rising 10.5% to AED 4.0 billion. EBITDA margin expanded by 2.1 percentage points to 49.2%, while net profit increased 12.6% year-on-year to AED 1.6 billion and operating free cash flow grew 9.7% to AED 3.0 billion, supported by a growing subscriber base of 9.3 million mobile and 744,000 fixed customers.

du's inclusion further strengthens the representation of UAE-listed companies within global benchmark indices and reflects the continued evolution of the UAE capital markets. As more international investors gain exposure to UAE equities through global indices, the market benefits from broader participation, deeper liquidity and enhanced international visibility.
