TransMobility Forum: Shaping the Future of Transportation

The inaugural TransMobility Forum (TMF) is set to take place on December 10-11 at Logimotion, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and technology innovators, the event will spotlight the future of transportation in the region. A key highlight of Logimotion, TMF will focus on mobility, presenting forward-thinking ideas and fostering collaboration among global experts.
Expert Speakers and High-Level Networking Opportunities
TMF will feature over 40 esteemed speakers and offer a premier platform for networking within the transportation and mobility industry. Attendees will gain valuable insights into a range of transformative topics, including autonomous vehicles, green technologies, smart city infrastructure, and advancements in freight and logistics.

Sustainability Goals Drive Transportation Innovation in the Region
Governments across the Middle East are prioritizing the adoption of autonomous and electric vehicles to meet their sustainability objectives. Dubai has set an ambitious target of making 25% of all transportation autonomous by 2030 under its Autonomous Transportation Strategy. Concurrently, investments in EV charging infrastructure are gaining momentum, aligning with global trends toward greener and more sustainable transportation solutions.
Key Discussions on Autonomous and Electric Mobility
The opening day of TMF will feature a pivotal panel discussion titled “Pioneering the Future of Mobility: Integrating Innovation and Sustainability in Global Transportation.” This session will cover advancements in autonomous and electric vehicles while examining the role of smart city infrastructure in enhancing urban mobility. Panelists include Jonathan Spear, Transport Policy and Strategy Advisor at AtkinsRéalis, and Samantha Rowles, Operations Director at Serco, among other industry experts.
Later in the day, Martin Ausserdorfer, CEO of Railtraction Company, will lead a presentation on “Revolutionising Rail: Innovations for a Sustainable Future.” This session will highlight technological advancements in rail systems, emphasizing their contribution to operational efficiency, passenger experience, and carbon emission reduction.
Day Two Focus: EV Integration and Traffic Management Solutions
On the second day, Akin Adamson, Director for the Middle East at Ricardo Group, will present on the “Holistic Integration of Electric Vehicles into Urban Transport Systems.” The session will explore the development of robust EV charging infrastructure and the critical role of urban planning in fostering EV adoption.
Adamson commented: “During the session, I will provide insights from around the world and suggest how these can be applied to cities in the UAE. We will explore the intersection of topics such as infrastructure, energy, technology, and human factors, and Logimotion is the ideal event for these discussions as it combines various interdisciplinary subjects and expertise.”
The day will also address urban traffic management challenges, featuring presentations and panel discussions on topics such as “Investing in Smart Traffic Solutions to Reduce Urban Congestion” and “Transformative Mobility Solutions for Urban Transportation.” A standout case study by Aurelie Dos Santos, Smart City Lead at Egis Middle East and South Asia, will detail innovative approaches to easing congestion in urban areas.
Logimotion: A Comprehensive Event for Logistics and Mobility
Logimotion, a groundbreaking event for the international logistics industry, will run concurrently with Automechanika Dubai.
