Automechanika Dubai Awards 2024 to Honour Industry Excellence

Automechanika Dubai, the largest gathering for the automotive aftermarket industry across the Middle East, has revealed the shortlist of companies vying for the prestigious 2024 Automechanika Dubai Awards.

Record Number of Entries and New Award Categories

This year, over 409 companies submitted entries, with 54 finalists emerging across 13 categories. Two new additions—Mobile Services Provider of the Year and Car Care Specialists of the Year—have been introduced under the Service Excellence Categories, further broadening the scope of recognition.

Highlights from the Mobile Services Provider Category

Orient Motors, known for servicing key fleets like Dubai Taxi, Sharjah RTA, and the police forces of Dubai and Sharjah, is among the shortlisted names in this category. Autopro, which focuses on quick, essential services at ENOC fuel stations, and CAFU, celebrated for its innovative approach to reshaping the automotive and mobility landscape in the region, also join them.

Top Contenders for Car Care Specialists of the Year

The finalists in this category showcase exceptional expertise. Meta Mechanics Auto Repair Centre stands out for its transparent customer service, while Emirati SME D Luxe Car Care has become a symbol of luxury and trust in the UAE's automotive after-sales sector. Performansion, a rising star in car aesthetics, and AutoMillennium Group, experts in vehicle transformations across the UAE and India, round out the list.

Breakthroughs in the Product Categories

The Product categories have drawn a significant number of international entries, reflecting a global appetite for innovation. Finalists in the Innovation Product of the Year include Saudi-based Ennoventure, Canadian firm CAMAUTO, Denmark’s HBC Systems, UAE’s Ferdinand Bilstein Middle East, and AutoMillennium Group.

For the Sustainability Product of the Year, finalists include IGL Coatings, GAT GmbH, ENOC Marketing, Brembo, Beeah, and Team Young from Taiwan, which has developed a revolutionary battery device eliminating toxic lead-acid batteries.

In the Safety Product of the Year category, HELLA Middle East earns a spot for its advanced commercial vehicle brake pad, while Ferdinand Bilstein Middle East is recognized for its innovative Joint Play Tester, a device that enhances vehicle safety diagnostics.

Women in Automotive Aftermarket: Celebrating Leaders

The Women in Automotive Aftermarket category celebrates industry trailblazers. Finalists include Shubhra Srivastava, CEO of GaragePlug Inc. and AutoPulse; Gaitri Jeswani, COO of Eurodiesel Services; Mary Munyao, COO of Yna Kenya; and Bhavika Sachdeva, Director of Trinity Lubes and Greases FZC.

Countdown to the Awards Ceremony

The winners will be unveiled during a grand ceremony on 11 December 2024, coinciding with the 21st edition of the Automechanika Dubai trade show. The event, running from 10–12 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will feature over 2,200 exhibitors from 60+ countries and is expected to attract more than 56,000 visitors.
