The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai South’s dedicated aerospace platform, continues its upward trajectory in the aviation sector. In the first quarter of 2025, the hub recorded 5,275 business aviation movements—a 15% increase compared to Q1 2024. This significant growth highlights the accelerating momentum of business aviation in the region and reinforces Al Maktoum International Airport’s status as the top international hub for business aviation in the Middle East.
A Strategic Hub for Global Aerospace Players
MBRAH stands out as a key destination for international aerospace companies, offering seamless global connectivity within a free-zone environment. The hub attracts leading commercial airlines, private jet operators, and aviation-related businesses, serving as a central point for both operations and innovation.
In his comments, HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, said: “Demand for business aviation has been steadily rising year after year, driven by Dubai’s compelling value proposition in both the business and tourism sectors. At MBRAH, we are committed to further contributing to this growth through the unique ecosystem we offer for private jet owners and high-net-worth individuals flying via our state-of-the-art VIP Terminal. We will continue to uphold our mandate of positioning Dubai as a global capital of aviation, in alignment with the government’s vision.”
Integrated Facilities to Support the Aviation Ecosystem
Developed by Dubai South, MBRAH is more than just an airport facility—it is a fully integrated aerospace ecosystem. The hub features advanced maintenance centres and hosts training and education campuses, creating a dynamic environment for industry growth, workforce development, and long-term sustainability.
