Global Software Leader BMC will work with the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to grow investment to $150M.

BMC, a global frontrunner in software solutions designed to accelerate business operations, has reinforced its commitment to Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation ambitions. At LEAP 2025, the company unveiled plans to establish a regional headquarters in the Kingdom alongside a state-of-the-art Innovation Centre in Riyadh. This initiative, backed by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), aligns with the nation’s Vision 2030 strategy to drive technological advancement and nurture local talent.

Advancing Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 Goals

In collaboration with the MCIT, BMC aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's leadership in digital innovation and infrastructure. The Kingdom, recently recognized among the world’s top 10 nations for digital government, is on track to achieve 92% digital transformation across key government services. BMC’s expertise will contribute to these ambitious goals while supporting the Kingdom's target of deriving nearly 20% of its GDP from the digital economy by 2030.

Expanding Investments and Ecosystem Growth

BMC has already committed over $60 million USD to Saudi Arabia, working closely with its partner ecosystem. This investment is projected to grow to $150 million by 2030. Currently, the company collaborates with over 300 BMC-certified professionals, 80% of whom are dedicated to customer success. This workforce is expected to expand to more than 600 experts within the next five years, further solidifying BMC’s presence in the region.

Enhancing AI Expertise in the Kingdom

Following Saudi Arabia's recent announcement of a $100 billion investment in artificial intelligence, BMC’s Innovation Centre will play a pivotal role in advancing AI capabilities across the region. The centre will focus on developing cutting-edge technologies while equipping local professionals with the skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven economy.

“BMC has been working with some of the region’s most prominent public and private organizations to take advantage of the AI-powered solutions transforming government services, renewable energy, tourism, entertainment, and other key industries,” said Ayman Sayed, president and CEO at BMC. “Working with His Excellency Abdullah Alswaha and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, we are eager to support the advancement of the Vision 2030 agenda with modern technology tools for ongoing innovation and global leadership.”
