Recent developments in video security and essential communications contribute to the protection of people, places, and property.

Motorola Solutions has introduced cutting-edge advancements within its safety and security ecosystem, aiming to enhance communication, collaboration, and operational efficiency for public safety agencies and enterprises. Unveiled at Critical Communications World 2024 (CCW), these innovations showcase the company's commitment to empowering frontline responders with seamless connectivity and robust tools.

Among the showcased innovations at CCW are the DIMETRA Connect solution and MXP660 TETRA radio. These offerings enable automatic switching between land mobile radio (LMR) and broadband networks, ensuring uninterrupted communication for first responders. Motorola Solutions also presents several additional innovations at CCW:

- PSCore for Android: The mobile policing application platform PSCore is now accessible on Android devices. This empowers officers to efficiently carry out tasks such as database queries, issuing infringement notices, and completing reports directly from the field.

- V500 body camera: Equipping first responders with live video streaming capabilities, the V500 body camera facilitates seamless communication with the control room. It allows for footage uploading on the go and provides radio updates and maintenance alerts without requiring a return to the station.

- M500 in-car video system: Utilizing advanced artificial intelligence and high-resolution cameras, the M500 in-car video system offers real-time threat identification by scanning the environment from multiple angles. Its backseat passenger analytics automatically trigger recording upon entry, enhancing situational awareness for officers.

- Long-range multi-sensor cameras: Designed for harsh environments, these specialized cameras offer clear visibility in military, aviation, maritime, and critical infrastructure settings. Equipped with precise detection capabilities, they can identify anomalies from distances of up to 20 miles (30 km), extending the perimeter of security and facilitating swift responses.

- Avigilon Unity: Offering on-premise video security and access control, Avigilon Unity utilizes advanced analytics for enhanced threat detection. Designed for seamless user experience, it makes enterprise-grade physical security accessible to businesses of all sizes.
