Axis Communications, a global leader in security and network surveillance technologies, has introduced two innovative solutions to enhance the AXIS Camera Station ecosystem: AXIS Camera Station Edge (ACS Edge) and AXIS Camera Station Cloud Storage (ACS Cloud Storage). These new offerings transform video network management by integrating edge cloud capabilities, thereby improving the physical security and surveillance systems of businesses. Both solutions are now available as part of the broader AXIS Camera Station product suite.

The system is designed for quick deployment, requiring only an Axis camera with an SD card or an AXIS S30 Recorder Series, significantly reducing setup time and ongoing maintenance efforts.

Alongside ACS Edge, Axis has launched ACS Cloud Storage, a fully managed cloud service that offers secure, off-site video storage through a subscription model. ACS Cloud Storage ensures long-term accessibility to video footage, even if the physical hardware is damaged or fails. This cloud solution provides businesses with peace of mind, knowing that their critical surveillance data is protected and accessible from any location.

With ACS Cloud Storage, users can automatically transfer processed video footage to the cloud, reducing the need for expensive on-site storage while maintaining flexible access. The service includes a 30-day retention period for 720p video, making it a valuable solution for businesses across the Middle East, offering multi-region support and ensuring data resilience in the event of unforeseen disruptions.
