They eliminate expenses related to salaries, benefits, and other costs associated with employing human staff. Furthermore, these machines can operate around the clock without breaks or rest periods. This can translate to savings of more than 60% as compared to human guards, as claimed by one of the companies that offer such services.

 

Efficiency: With their ability to cover large areas swiftly and efficiently, robotic guards excel at detecting potential threats and responding promptly. They can simultaneously monitor multiple locations, minimizing the requirement for additional personnel.

 

Consistency: Unlike human security guards, robotic counterparts do not experience fatigue or distractions, enabling them to maintain unwavering vigilance and meticulous attention to detail. This is one of the key factors that will eventually pit the battle in favour of these autonomous machines, considering the Australian and American armies have already started testing them for full-time deployment.
