With a focus on ushering enterprises into the digital age, this initiative aims to provide top-tier technology solutions tailored to support customers across various verticals, enabling them to thrive and accelerate their digital journey.

The forthcoming edition of 'The Vertical' is scheduled for October 10, 2023, in the vibrant setting of Angola. This event will hone in on key industries, fostering an environment ripe for innovation and growth. Chapter 4 of 'The Vertical,' held in Kenya, was a game-changer for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) and Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) sectors. Distinguished speakers took the stage, shedding light on cutting-edge solutions that stole the limelight. These illuminating discussions showcased the transformative power of technology in driving growth and enhancing customer experiences. Topics spanned regulatory landscapes, sustainability, and beyond, painting a comprehensive picture of industry evolution.

A pivotal moment came during the keynote address delivered by Patrick Kiburi Kilemi, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Co-operatives and MSMEs Development. His insights provided a governmental perspective on the inexorable march toward digital transformation across all industries. Kilemi emphasized that efficiency, accessibility, and innovation have emerged as pivotal elements in digital strategies, especially in the BFSI and SACCOs sectors.

Kilemi said, “Initiatives like the Hustler Fund are made possible by existing platforms such as M-Pesa and KCB. These facilitate seamless financial interactions for more than 22 million Kenyans. An astounding 7 million Kenyans borrow and repay daily through the Hustler Fund with technology playing a pivotal role in determining borrowing limits. The potential harboured by technology and innovation is nothing short of enormous, leaving us to ponder where the realm of IT will lead us”.

The success of this event was made possible through the generous support of industry leaders such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Dell Technologies, DigiGlass, Trend Micro AMEA, Veeam Software, Cisco, Red Hat, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium. In its fifth instalment, 'The Vertical' journeyed to Saudi Arabia, with a renewed focus on reshaping business outcomes across key sectors: Education, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Real Estate throughout the Kingdom. This exclusive, invitation-only event brought together industry stalwarts who illuminated how advanced technologies could empower these four pivotal sectors.
