Eaton Middle East Elects Qasem Noureddin As New Managing Director

With a wealth of industry experience, Qasem Noureddin will spearhead the strategic expansion and regional operations of Eaton.

In a strategic move to strengthen its foothold in the Middle East, Eaton, a leading intelligent power management company, has announced the appointment of Qasem Noureddin as the new Managing Director for the region. Noureddin will oversee Eaton’s operational and commercial business, focusing on delivering innovative power management solutions across key sectors including oil and gas, utilities, construction, and data centres. Qasem Noureddin brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He began his career with Cooper Industries before joining Eaton in 2012. Most recently, he served as the commercial director of Eaton’s Power Management & Control Components (PMCC) division. Noureddin holds an Electronics Engineering degree from Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Royal Scientific Society in Amman, Jordan.

“Our growth aspirations and expertise in power management align with the needs of our customers in the Middle East and we can also help them to develop energy transition strategies through our ‘Buildings as a Grid’ approach to commercial and industrial buildings and EV charging,” said Qasem. “With a focus on innovation and collaboration, we will continue to drive success and deliver value to our customers and partners in the region.

Qasem reports to Dusan Pirich, vice president, sales, emerging markets, Electrical Sector, EMEA, who said: “Eaton has established itself as a premier power management company in the Middle East, and Qasem has a proven track record of delivering market growth and operational excellence. His leadership skills will be pivotal as we continue to grow our business and develop strong relationships with our regional stakeholders.”

Noureddin succeeds Ashraf Yehia, who has transitioned to a broader regional role within Eaton as Vice President and General Manager of the Life Safety division for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Yehia’s leadership has been instrumental in reinforcing Eaton’s market presence in the Middle East, and his new role is expected to further elevate the company’s commitment to safety and innovation across EMEA.

Eaton’s presence in the Middle East spans over four decades, marked by significant contributions to the region’s infrastructure development. The company’s robust portfolio includes renowned legacy brands such as Westinghouse, Crouse-Hinds, CEAG, BILL, MEM, Cutler-Hammer, Powerware, and Moeller. With a workforce of over 300 employees spread across 19 offices, Eaton continues to drive forward-thinking power management solutions that meet the diverse needs of its regional customers.
