Advanced capabilities help implement identity-first security for agentic AI at scale

CyberArk, a global pioneer in identity security, has announced that its Secure Cloud Access (SCA) MCP Server and Agent Guard solutions are now featured in the newly introduced AI Agents and Tools category on AWS Marketplace. This move enables AWS users to discover, purchase, and deploy advanced AI agent security solutions seamlessly within their existing AWS environments, accelerating the adoption and development of agent-based workflows.

Enhancing AI Agent Security in a Rapidly Evolving Landscape

The availability of these tools complements CyberArk’s broader Secure AI Agents strategy, which aims to secure privileged access for AI-driven agents. As enterprises increasingly turn to AI for automating complex workflows, CyberArk is responding with robust identity security controls that address the growing concerns around unchecked AI deployment. The Secure Cloud Access MCP Server and Agent Guard are integrated components of the CyberArk Identity Security Platform, providing robust defences against credential leaks and unauthorised access. Notably, CyberArk research reveals that 68% of organizations lack sufficient identity protection for AI, creating critical blind spots for security teams in today’s multi-cloud infrastructures.

“The promise of agentic AI can be undermined by inadequate security controls, which introduce risk and increase the likelihood of a breach,” said Peretz Regev, Chief Product Officer at CyberArk. “With SCA MCP Server and Agent Guard, organizations can implement Zero Standing Privileges to maintain more secure and scalable AI-first operations, helping to stop excessive standing access, privileges and permissions from becoming scattered through cloud environments. By offering them through AWS Marketplace, organizations will have greater access to these critical tools.”

Zero Standing Privileges and Developer-First Security

The SCA MCP Server has been purpose-engineered to bring Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP) capabilities into mainstream developer environments quickly and efficiently. It allows enterprises to secure access to modern, cloud-native infrastructure by minimizing constant credential exposure and eliminating unmanaged AI agent privileges. The solution is designed to reduce risk from standing entitlements and integrates natively with developers' preferred tools, making secure access a seamless part of their workflow.

Agent Guard: Open-Source Security for Developers and AI Agents

CyberArk’s Agent Guard, available as an open-source solution, gives developers the ability to securely connect AI agents with credential providers such as AWS Secrets Manager and CyberArk Secrets Manager. This tool enhances visibility into AI behavior by monitoring real-time large language model (LLM) interactions and logging detailed performance data. With compatibility across various AI frameworks and support for secure secret injection via environment variables, Agent Guard strengthens the foundation for secure agentic operations.

A New Era of AI Innovation Through AWS Marketplace

With the inclusion of AI security tools like those from CyberArk in the AWS Marketplace’s new category, enterprises can now accelerate procurement and integration of AI security solutions. The centralized procurement model through AWS accounts offers increased transparency into licensing, billing, and access management. This streamlined approach reduces the time and complexity traditionally involved in vendor selection and negotiation, helping organizations focus on innovation while staying secure.
