AIQ, a leading AI innovator based in Abu Dhabi and specializing in energy sector solutions, has announced its acceptance into the Microsoft Cloud AI Partner Program. This partnership marks a significant step forward in AIQ’s strategic collaboration with Microsoft. In line with this development, AIQ has also selected Microsoft Azure as its primary cloud development environment, intending to launch its suite of AI-powered solutions through the Azure Marketplace.
Microsoft’s Global AI Partner Network
The Microsoft Cloud AI Partner Program connects over 500,000 partners worldwide, supporting their digital transformation efforts with one of the most comprehensive technology stacks available. Through this program, members gain access to Microsoft’s advanced AI platforms and tools, helping them develop, market, and deliver cutting-edge solutions. AIQ’s admission into this network positions it to leverage these resources for technical consultation, product development, and skill-building programs.
AIQ Selects Azure for Development and Deployment
AIQ’s decision to adopt Azure as its core development environment stems from Azure’s extensive suite of 200+ products and services. This platform allows organizations to build, deploy, and manage applications across multiple environments—whether on-premises, in the cloud, or at the edge—using a wide range of frameworks and tools tailored to meet specific business needs.
Magzhan Kenesbai, Acting Managing Director of AIQ said, “This is a milestone development in the advancement of our digital resources and capabilities, and prepares us for the next phase of growth we are entering. Microsoft is a trusted partner to significant entities in the UAE, and we are confident that through leveraging their cloud infrastructure, our development domestically and internationally will be accelerated.”
Saravan Penubarthi, AIQ Chief Technology Officer commented, “AIQ is at an exciting point in its journey, where we are looking to take our innovations and insights global, and being part of a robust cloud-based marketplace is essential to achieving this. We are keen for customers anywhere in the world to be able to access and plug-and-play our market-leading tools, and start benefiting from the efficiencies they bring immediately.”
Expansion of AIQ’s Product Portfolio on Azure Marketplace
AIQ has already begun marketing some of its products through digital marketplaces, and its integration with Azure Marketplace will further enhance these efforts. By utilizing Microsoft’s platform, AIQ aims to reach a broader audience, accelerating the rollout of its innovative solutions and expanding its market presence.
Strategic Investment to Drive AI Innovation in the UAE and Beyond
In a related development earlier this year, Microsoft announced a strategic investment of $1.5 billion in G42, an AI technology conglomerate based in the UAE and the majority shareholder of AIQ’s parent company, Presight. This investment strengthens the collaboration between Microsoft and G42, focusing on advancing AI technologies and skilling initiatives across the UAE and other regions worldwide.
