TAQA Distribution, part of the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), has formalized a new collaboration with Abu Dhabi Airports through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the World Utilities Congress 2025. This agreement aims to explore innovative ways to improve the management of power and water systems and to integrate advanced technologies into both current and future utility networks at all airports within the Emirate.

The MoU was officially signed by Omar Al Hashmi, CEO of TAQA Distribution, alongside Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports. The signing took place in the presence of senior government officials and key figures from the utilities and aviation sectors, highlighting the significance of this partnership.
