Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE), Al Dahra Agriculture Trading, and Fujairah Municipality have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement designed to accelerate sustainable development across the Emirate of Fujairah. This three-way collaboration harnesses the strengths of each organization to support vital infrastructure, enhance community well-being, and foster long-term environmental and economic resilience.

Framework for Infrastructure and Land Use Planning

The agreement tackles longstanding land-related issues while laying the groundwork for future infrastructure projects. EtihadWE plays a central role in this initiative by facilitating the rollout of key projects and ensuring uninterrupted delivery of essential utility services to Fujairah’s residents.

Supporting National Goals Through Coordinated Action

This alliance enhances integrated planning efforts among the three entities and directly contributes to broader national objectives. The partnership also paves the way for ongoing collaboration in strategic sustainability sectors.

Eng. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of EtihadWE, said: “This agreement reflects our continued commitment to enabling infrastructure and sustainability in Fujairah. The new land lease allows us to move forward with key projects that modernise utility services in the emirate, enhancing resilience and meeting future demand. In the months ahead, the collaboration will broaden its scope to include joint initiatives in renewable energy, water conservation, and sustainable food systems—initiatives that align with Fujairah’s broader vision of inclusive and sustainable development. Regular reviews will be conducted to ensure the partnership remains aligned with its goals, achieves measurable outcomes, and delivers shared value to the community.
