ENOC Group Reinforces Sustainability & Innovation at WETEX 2024

ENOC Group, a prominent global player in the energy sector, is set to reaffirm its dedication to sustainability and innovation at the 26th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). Organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the guidance of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, the exhibition will take place from 1 – 3 October 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Focus on Biofuels and Regulatory Alignment

Aligned with the UAE’s National Policy on Biofuels, which seeks to establish regulations for the distribution and production of biofuels, ENOC Group plans to use WETEX as a platform to showcase its innovative achievements. The policy aims to introduce standards and controls for biofuel utilization, and ENOC’s participation will highlight its contributions to this goal, such as the Group's solar-powered biodiesel truck and the cutting-edge Vehicle Identification Pass (ViP), an RFID-based fuel security technology.

Record-Breaking Attendance at WETEX 2023

The previous edition of WETEX in 2023 was a landmark event, occupying over 78,000 square meters of exhibition space. It attracted more than 38,000 visitors, with 2,600 companies from 62 countries participating. The exhibition also hosted 163 seminars, facilitating over 7,000 B2B and B2G meetings, and garnered sponsorship from 76 local and international organizations.
