100 Years of Innovations

Daikin's story began in October 1924 as Osaka Metal Industries, a limited partnership making radiator tubes for aeroplanes. Over the decades, they transformed into a successful multinational corporation with a dual focus: air conditioning and fluorochemicals. Daikin has a long history of innovation, pioneering Japan's first commercial refrigeration system in the 1930s, the world's first packaged air conditioners in the 1950s, and VRV multi-split commercial air conditioners in 1982. Today, Daikin boasts over 120 production sites worldwide. They're a recognized leader in global air conditioning, offering products and services that cater to diverse cultures and values. Their mission is clear: to create healthy and comfortable spaces for people everywhere through the power of air conditioning.
