In a strong demonstration of its continued leadership in the real estate sector, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) signed 11 cooperation agreements with both local and international partners. These agreements were formalised during DLD’s active participation at the International Property Show (IPS) 2025—one of the globe’s most influential real estate events.
The goal? To elevate Dubai’s real estate services, boost transparency, promote gender inclusion, and accelerate the adoption of smart technologies—all in line with the city’s vision of becoming a global benchmark for innovative and sustainable real estate investment.
Boosting Efficiency and Transparency Across Dubai’s Property Market
Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, led the signing of six key agreements with a range of entities, including Bidbayt for Property Public Auction, Auctions, Shory Insurance Brokerage, Eqarcom Solutions, HRE Real Estate Development, and the Miami Association of Realtors.
These partnerships are part of a broader effort to modernise real estate operations—enhancing auction systems, integrating tech-driven solutions, and offering more transparency and efficiency across the sector.
Integrating Real-Time Data and Streamlining Auctions
A standout collaboration was with Bidbayt, integrating DLD’s official rental index directly into their platform. This integration ensures accurate, verified data is easily accessible, empowering investors to make informed decisions. Additionally, Auctions was licensed to conduct and manage property auctions in Dubai, aiming to elevate the process to international standards and stimulate market competitiveness.
Insurance Solutions for a Stronger Rental Market
In a bid to reinforce trust in the rental landscape, DLD entered into an MoU with Shory Insurance Brokerage. This initiative introduces innovative insurance options designed to protect both tenants and landlords—strengthening financial safeguards across the rental ecosystem.
Advancing PropTech and Sustainable Operations
The MoU with Eqarcom Solutions reflects DLD’s push toward digital transformation. Through this agreement, both parties will exchange resources and develop cutting-edge solutions that align with Dubai’s sustainability goals and enhance regulatory compliance in real estate transactions.
Fostering International Collaboration with Miami
A strategic partnership with the Miami Association of Realtors is set to deepen cross-border cooperation. The focus is on knowledge exchange, joint event participation, and promoting diverse investment avenues between Dubai and Miami—further integrating Dubai into the global real estate landscape.
Empowering Women and Delivering High-Quality Services
Majida Ali Rashed, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector, spearheaded the signing of five more agreements aimed at outsourcing select services and fostering female leadership in real estate.
Partners include Gulf Vision, Bin Shabib, Al Yalayis GT Centre, Barnes Middle East and Africa Holding, and the Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute. These collaborations are structured to expand service capacity, empower women professionals, and raise customer satisfaction through quality and efficiency.
Elevating Women's Role in Real Estate
One notable update was an extension of DLD’s agreement with the Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute to support the She Pioneers programme. This initiative offers tailored training in brokerage, investment, and leadership, actively supporting the growth of women in the industry.
Further aligning with this mission, DLD signed a cooperation deal with HRE Real Estate Development under the Women’s Charter initiative, which promotes leadership pathways, flexible work environments, and women-centric investment opportunities.
Streamlining Service Delivery Through Outsourcing
As part of its strategy to improve customer experience, DLD formalised agreements with Gulf Vision, Bin Shabib, and Al Yalayis GT Center. These partners will deliver real estate services via DLD-authorised systems, ensuring full compliance while boosting operational efficiency.
Another key agreement with Barnes Middle East and Africa Holding aims to offer integrated, customer-focused real estate services—helping drive sector growth and operational excellence.
Majid Al Marri stated: “These agreements reflect DLD’s vision of establishing a fully integrated real estate ecosystem rooted in innovation and driven by strategic partnerships that enhance the sector’s sustainability and global competitiveness. Our collaboration with leading partners in technology, sustainability, and smart services directly translates the directives of our wise leadership. It supports our strategic goals to provide a flexible, transparent, and secure real estate environment for investors and the wider community.”
For her part, Majida Ali Rashid said: “We remain committed to advancing a forward-looking real estate ecosystem that keeps pace with market dynamics and reinforces Dubai’s position at the forefront of global cities attracting sustainable, knowledge-based, and innovation-driven real estate investment. We believe that what we are building today lays the foundation for Dubai’s future as a hub for smart and sustainable real estate and a city of promising opportunities for investors and talent worldwide.”
Aligning with Dubai’s Future-Ready Vision
These new partnerships align closely with Dubai’s long-term strategic goals, including the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033. By embracing innovation, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and supporting inclusive growth, DLD is setting the stage for a bold, globally competitive real estate future.
