The Dubai Land Department and partner agencies set up a London hub to facilitate property transactions, licensing, legal and immigration services

In a landmark move aimed at enhancing global investor confidence, Dubai Chambers has launched its first international centre, Dubai Hub London. Strategically designed to serve as a comprehensive platform, the hub offers a full spectrum of integrated services from both the government and private sectors. Its core purpose is to assist foreign investors and businesses interested in setting up operations in Dubai, ensuring they experience a smooth, streamlined entry into the emirate’s thriving economic landscape.

Realising a Global Business Vision

The opening of Dubai Hub London reflects the emirate’s wider ambition to cement its position as a global business capital. This initiative is a direct embodiment of Dubai’s leadership vision, combining economic, real estate, and legal services within a single international access point. By removing procedural barriers and offering one-window support, the hub reinforces Dubai’s status as one of the most business-friendly cities in the world.

A Strategic Collaboration Under Government Oversight

The centre is being supervised by Dubai Chambers and operated by Al Burj Holding, functioning as an authorised outsourcing facility for various government services. As a fully licensed entity, Dubai Hub London not only serves a functional role but also symbolises Dubai’s growing economic footprint across international markets. Its establishment is a calculated step towards enhancing Dubai’s influence in global trade corridors.

Comprehensive Government Services in the First Phase

During its initial phase, the hub will host services from multiple key Dubai government departments. These include the Dubai Land Department, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and Dubai Courts. The services on offer encompass a wide range of support, from property management and licensing to legal and administrative assistance, streamlining the relocation and business setup process for UK-based investors and entrepreneurs. Further departments and services are expected to be added in future phases.

Specialised Offerings Across Core Sectors

Each participating department brings its own set of specialised functions to the table. The Dubai Land Department, for instance, will handle property-related services like valuations, data amendments, and the issuance of land maps. The Department of Economy and Tourism will facilitate business setup through trade name reservations, new licence issuance, renewals, and modifications. Dubai Courts will offer critical legal services such as contract attestations, signature verifications, document translations, and the preparation and registration of various certificates and declarations.

Boosting Real Estate Linkages Between Dubai and the UK

In addition to governmental services, the new centre will also focus heavily on the real estate sector. Dubai Hub London will serve as a collaborative platform with some of Dubai’s leading property developers, bringing prime investment opportunities directly to potential UK-based buyers and institutional investors. This unique positioning makes it easier for international stakeholders to explore and engage with Dubai’s dynamic real estate market without needing to travel.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the launch reflects Dubai's commitment to supporting investors abroad in line with the directives of the leadership and the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).

He added, "We are focused on enhancing Dubai's competitiveness and ensuring convenient access to services for our international clients. The launch of Dubai Hub sends a clear message: facilitating business for global investors is our top priority."

London: A Natural Choice for Global Outreach

Choosing London as the location for this inaugural international hub is a strategic decision rooted in market intelligence. As a global financial capital with a wide base of high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and globally connected entrepreneurs, London offers unparalleled access to the type of international audience Dubai aims to attract. The launch of this hub is expected to significantly strengthen economic ties between Dubai and the UK while opening new avenues for cross-border collaboration and investment.

A Forward-Thinking Gateway to Dubai’s Economy

Dubai Hub London is not just a regional extension, it is a forward-thinking gateway that exemplifies the emirate’s global outreach strategy. By offering a direct link between two major economic centres, it sets a new benchmark for international business facilitation and deepens Dubai’s integration into the global investment ecosystem.
