The “Shalayel” Digital Museum is among the main attractions at the Saudi International Falconry and Hunting Exhibition 2025, drawing visitors with its interactive displays that explore the fascinating world of falcons, their history, and the traditions of falconry, a practice deeply rooted in Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage.
Through an immersive, high-tech experience, the museum takes visitors on a journey that showcases the speed, sharp vision, physical symmetry, and vivid colours of falcons, while highlighting their trainability, adaptability, and nurturing behaviour. Interactive exhibits provide educational insights into the falcon’s anatomy, including the neck, wings, talons, and tail.
The museum also documents the global history and distribution of falcons, tracing their presence across continents and shedding light on their breeding sites in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the mountain ranges along the western region. Visitors can experience an engaging overview of falcons’ hunting methods, illustrating how they pursue and capture their prey.
Another highlight of the Shalayel Museum is a dedicated section displaying some of the most valuable falcons ever auctioned at the International Auction for Falcon Breeding Farms, giving visitors a close look at rare and distinguished falcon breeds.
