beIN MEDIA GROUP, a global powerhouse in broadcasting, has renewed and expanded its content partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). The extended agreement grants beIN exclusive, multi-year rights to a wide range of top-tier television series and blockbuster films. These titles will become available to audiences across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Türkiye, following their theatrical release.
Exclusive Access Across Multiple Platforms
Through this extended arrangement, beIN will maintain privileged access to both first and second window rights for a variety of SPE’s titles. These include fan-favourite movies, acclaimed TV shows, and award-winning content from SPE’s extensive catalogue. In the MENA region, viewers will enjoy programming in both Arabic and English on beIN’s entertainment channels, on-demand service, and its digital platforms, TOD and beIN CONNECT. Meanwhile, in Türkiye, content will be accessible in both English and Turkish through Digiturk's channels, as well as on TOD and beIN CONNECT.
A Line-Up of Highly Anticipated Titles
The deal secures several upcoming SPE projects that have already generated buzz in the global entertainment space. Titles like I Know What You Did Last Summer, 28 Years Later, Until Dawn, and Karate Kid: Legends are part of the lineup. The partnership could also bring recent blockbusters such as Venom: The Last Dance, Kraven the Hunter, Saturday Night, the Academy Award-winning I’m Still Here (Best International Feature Film, 2025), and Paddington in Peru to beIN’s audiences.
Premium Series and Anime Also Included
In addition to films, the agreement encompasses a robust selection of television series and anime. Among the featured shows are the time-travel drama Outlander (Seasons 1–8), the medical hit The Good Doctor (Seasons 1–7), and the action-packed Twisted Metal (Seasons 1–2). Popular anime titles from Crunchyroll, such as Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia (Seasons 1–2), are also included in the mix, catering to a diverse viewer base.
