Eterna Health & Dr. Khan Pioneer Regenerative Stem Cell Treatment

A next-generation advancement beyond PRP therapy, SPSCs harness the body’s own rare stem-like cells for deeper regeneration

Eterna Health and internationally recognized expert in regenerative medicine, Dr. Adeel Khan, have partnered to launch an innovative therapy utilizing Small Pluripotent Stem Cells (SPSCs), a next-generation innovation in regenerative medicine that exceeds the standard of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP).

While PRP has been widely used to stimulate repair through concentrated growth factors, SPSCs represent a deeper and more comprehensive form of regeneration. SPSCs exist in adult blood and are rarer than PRP, but more effective because they offer deeper and more complete regeneration than PRP to both signal repair and directly regenerate damaged tissues.

Derived from a simple blood draw, SPSCs are tiny, measuring less than five micrometres, and express key pluripotency markers such as OCT4, NANOG, SOX2 and SSEA-4, indicating their potential to form different tissue types. Through a gentle, cold-enrichment process developed by Eterna Health’s laboratories, between 200 and 500 million viable SPSCs can be safely concentrated from just 60 millilitres of blood. Because of their small size, these cells can circulate systemically rather than becoming trapped in the lungs, a challenge sometimes seen with larger cell types. Early clinical findings suggest SPSCs have a strong safety profile with no tumour risk and an encouraging early track record, supporting their promise as a next-generation regenerative tool.

"PRP gives the body the signal to heal. SPSCs supply the mechanism," stated Dr. Adeel Khan, CEO and Founder of Eterna Health. "By tapping into the body's own regenerative capacity, we can now go beyond signalling and facilitate actual cellular repair and renewal in a safe, effective and natural way."

The new therapy uses the patient's own blood and is minimally manipulated, following the safety frameworks of regulatory agencies like the FDA and the EMA for regenerative medicine. This keeps the treatment biologically compatible and follows regulations, and it helps eliminate the risk of cultured cells or genetically modified stem cells.

Dr. Khan commented, "Safety, science and transparency are the cornerstone of everything we do. Our process is built upon solid biology and clinical standards, and a great respect for patient trust. SPSCs is the next step in the progression of responsible evidence-based regenerative care."

Dr. Adeel Khan Md is a globally recognized authority in regenerative medicine and is well known for his leadership in applied cell therapy. He works with top athletes, longevity researchers, and internationally recognized health organizations to foster the safe and evidence-based use of stem-cell science. He is guiding Eterna Health to bridge the evolving regenerative

landscape with clinical and patient-centred research to ensure new regenerative technologies are sound within a clinical context.

Dr. Khan and Eterna Health continue the important global conversation around responsible regenerative medicine that is ethical, and evidence based. The availability of this therapy adds to Eterna Health's position as a leader in regenerative and functional medicine. By integrating academic rigor with patient-centred innovation, the clinic continues to provide accessible, ethical and effective therapies that harness the body's innate ability to heal itself.
