Larsen & Toubro's power transmission and distribution division has successfully clinched new contracts in the Middle East. In the United Arab Emirates, the company has been awarded a contract to establish a 220kV gas-insulated substation and the associated transmission lines a well-established energy industry service provider.
Furthermore, Larsen & Toubro has received orders to set up two new 132kV substations from a public services infrastructure company in Dubai. Additionally, the company has secured an order for the construction of a 220kV overhead transmission line in the region.
In Kuwait, the company has secured a turnkey construction order for four new 132kV substations in the Al Sabah Medical District. The scope of work encompasses control, protection, automation, communication systems, and related civil and mechanical works.
Larsen & Toubro has also garnered additional orders in the ongoing projects in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
