Gainwell Commosales Private Limited (GCPL), the official manufacturing partner of Lintec & Linnhoff in India, has successfully dispatched its locally manufactured Linnhoff DRX DurableMix asphalt mixing plants to several prominent infrastructure players across the country. These technologically advanced plants are now operational in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, actively contributing to crucial projects overseen by the Public Works Department (PWD) and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Powering Road Development in Cooch Behar
A Linnhoff DRX1500 asphalt mixing plant has been deployed in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, where it is playing a pivotal role in enhancing road development capabilities. With its advanced automation features and energy-efficient performance, the plant is enabling higher productivity and better-quality output. The client, a frequent participant in infrastructure tenders, is leveraging this modern equipment to expand their contribution to the region’s growing road network.
Driving Major Upgrades on the Kona Expressway
Another DRX1500 plant has been commissioned for a transformative infrastructure project in Kolkata, a 7.2-kilometre six-lane elevated corridor on the busy Kona Expressway (NH117). Once completed in early 2026, the project will significantly improve traffic flow between Vidyasagar Setu and NH16, positively impacting the daily commute of over 100,000 travellers. The Linnhoff DRX1500 is a critical asset in ensuring consistent, timely, and environmentally compliant asphalt supply for the project.
Technology That Enhances Efficiency and Reduces Costs
What sets the DRX1500 apart is its integration of the Double Screen Drum technology, which streamlines aggregate screening and drying into a single, compact system. This innovation minimizes both operational expenses and maintenance needs. The plant also features individual weighing systems with load cells for aggregates, fillers, and bitumen, ensuring exact proportions and consistent hot-mix quality. Moreover, the DRX’s modular design—delivered pre-assembled—simplifies both installation and dismantling, reducing labour costs and speeding up site deployment.
