Aimed at enhancing the nationalization rates in MENA region

The Ministry of Labour successfully concluded the initial phase of the practical training initiative designed for Qatari nationals of both genders, as well as individuals with Qatari mothers. This program is an integral component of the National Program for Job Nationalization in the private sector. In collaboration with companies in the insurance sector, the ministry organized a two-week training session aimed at enhancing the nationalization rates within these companies.

The concluding day of the training program featured personal interviews for available positions within the participating insurance companies. The primary objective was to expedite the hiring process for individuals who successfully completed the training program. The comprehensive program offered a combination of theoretical training, with contributions from the Ministry of Labour, Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company, and General Takaful Insurance Company. Additionally, practical training was conducted in collaboration with three prominent insurance companies: Qatar Islamic Insurance Group, Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), and Doha Takaful. During the initial phase, participants had the opportunity to gain insights into the nature of work within insurance companies, exploring various fields and understanding their crucial role in fortifying the national economy. This exposure is anticipated to stimulate increased interest among job seekers to pursue employment opportunities within the insurance sector.

The practical training, an essential component of the private sector job nationalization program, unfolded in two stages. The first segment comprised a three-day theoretical training session, equipping participants with foundational knowledge. The subsequent seven-day practical training occurred at the premises of one of the participating companies, offering hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the day-to-day operations within the company.
