UIBC-UC Joins Forces with Expand North Star for Dubai Startup Growth

The UAE India Business Council - UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC) has entered into a strategic partnership with Expand North Star, the world’s largest startup and investor conference. Expand North Star is a key initiative of GITEX, which is widely regarded as the top technology event globally. As part of this collaboration, UIBC-UC will serve as a community partner to help foster innovation by connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from India and the UAE.

UIBC-UC's Role in the Initiative

With its extensive network of 18 founding members, representing some of the leading Indian and Emirati business organizations, the UIBC-UC will play a critical role in facilitating valuable connections. This partnership aims to provide entrepreneurs and startups with crucial market insights, assist them in navigating regulatory landscapes, and identify investment opportunities that will drive growth and innovation in both regions.

MoU with the Rajasthan Government

In addition to its collaboration with Expand North Star, the UIBC-UC has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan. This agreement promotes investment and economic collaboration between the UAE and Rajasthan. The MoU focuses on showcasing Rajasthan’s investment potential, organizing joint events, and exchanging key market intelligence to boost investment and foster business partnerships.

Recognizing the crucial role of startups in driving innovation, we are committed to partnering with the Expand North Star team to create valuable platforms for meaningful connections, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among businesses in both regions,” said UIBC-UC and KEF Holdings Chairman Mr. Faizal Kottikollon.

Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024

As part of this MoU, UIBC-UC is set to participate in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024, which will take place from December 9-11 in Jaipur. This participation underscores UIBC-UC’s commitment to driving mutual growth between the UAE and India, with a particular focus on connecting UAE investors with enterprises in Rajasthan.

Expand North Star: A Powerhouse for Startups

The Expand North Star conference, taking place from October 13-16, 2024, in the UAE, will serve as a major platform for business impact. The event brings together the entire startup ecosystem, including investors, accelerators, and tech enthusiasts, all under one roof.
